Reese Witherspoon loves Yoga

Reese Witherspoon is one of Hollywood stars who loves Yoga. Before discovering this sport, Reese kept jogging, but lately she is more attracted to Yoga because it helps her look good and relax.

 

Although it seems to be a new trend in fitness for Hollywood stars, Yoga is actually nearly 3000 years old and has been practicing since then with holiness in India. Yoga means in the Sanskrit language unity (between mind, body and spirit). Lately, Yoga has been more known as sport, but it is actually a lifestyle where sport is only a small part. Yoga places great emphasis on soul, mind, body, breath, and is a method that wants to connect man with the spirit.

Yoga: mind, body and spirit The physical part of Yoga (sport and physical exercise) is called Hatha Yoga. Exercises assume maintaining a specific position for several seconds, while breathing deeply. There are many posts you can practice in Hatha Yoga, depending on what you want to achieve: muscle mass, flexibility, concentration, spiritual and physical purification. Yoga exercises are very popular because they are not extenuating and because they help you find your inner balance, disconnect yourself and at the same time take care of your body and your mind. Such a fitness program will help you reduce stress, get rid of sleep disturbances, muscle aches and improve your brain activity (you will focus better, you will not get tired, etc.).

 Reese and YogaHop Reese chooses YogaHop, which involves physical exercise typical of this sport made on music (rock, pop and hip-hop). At each meeting, there is another type of music, so there is no risk of getting bored as fast as you do at the same pace every day. Reese’s favorite exercise is the one that works his leg muscles and chest: Move your legs to the hips. Put your left leg in front and bend your knee until the thigh is parallel to the floor. Turn your right foot out. Put your left hand on the floor, inside your left foot. Rotate your upper body to the right and stretch your right arm to the ceiling. Keep the position for 30 seconds and repeat for the other arm.  

What other celebrities love Yoga Many of the Hollywood stars chose Yoga as their favorite sport. Most of them vary with classical exercises, but they say Yoga is very good when you want to look good, but also to disconnect and take a break. Madonna chose, for example, Ashtanga Yoga and practiced this sport 3 times a week. Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria alternate Yoga sessions with classical fitness exercises. Gwyneth Paltrow is currently practicing only Yoga, 4 times a week, and is very pleased with the results.
